True Valentine @ The Hub

"My 21st century Valentine with your multitude of faces. A thousand candy hearts I give away in your name to help me find the way into the flesh of my new poem. My era. My time... I'll tell you what the New looks like. A rose from you to one thousand. A rose from me to one thousand yous."

Thank you to The Valentine Peace Project , Feest der Poezie, Tony Chocolonely, and Hub members for a warm 21st century ethical valentine full with fair trade and organic flowers - a first True Valentine at Hub Amsterdam Saturday evening.

Directions to The Hub

We are located at Westerstraat 187.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
We're at 12 minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station, close to the 'Noordermarkt'. Take tram 13 or 17 to stop 'Westermarkt' and walk 5 minutes. Take bus 18 or 21 to stop 'Marnixplein' and walk 3 minutes. Take the GVB Stop/Go and get off at 'Westerstraat' and walk 3 minutes.

BY CAR
From the A10 (west), take exit s103 and go right onto the Haarlemmerweg. Go straight until the crossing at the Haarlemmerplein and turn right onto the '(korte) Marnixstraat. The third street on your left is the Westerstraat (at the tram stop). The Hub is at the first floor of the 'Westerhuis', a large former schoolbuilding on your right. Parking is available on the street.
